I downloaded this add-on today and it will not run. It says I do not have Berryweather loaded on my phone (BOLD 9700 - OS5.0.0.593). This makes no sense - I am running ver 2.1.40. I did a battery pull with no luck. It tells me to go get Berryweather but only gives me an option to download a lower version than I currently have on my phone. Any thoughts?

WeatherPeek only works with the latest version of BerryWeather which supports the API interface for 3rd party apps (which includes WeatherPeek). Try upgrading from BerryWeather 2.1.40 to 2.2.01 - you can get this version directly on the Bellshare website:

http://m.bellshare.com/berryweather/

Note that this requirement is stated in blue text immediately above the links to WeatherPeek in this topic.

Link you show does not connect to anything, and you seem to have the same link posted for both BB OS's. What is the full site to go to, don't understand the ..... between words.

Very clever little applet!

One thought. Any chance of making the 'w' keyboard letter bring up this applet with an option to open the main app from there? Perhaps hit W again or the return key, something like that?

I would love to use this more but having to use a convenience key makes it hard for me as those are set up for functions I use 20 times a day.

If W opened this rather than the BerryWeather app, I bet some users would appreciate the option. Only if getting to the main app after hitting W was only one more click somehow.

Just a thought.

Great work as always.

Nice addition!

Is it possible to have successive button pushes scroll through my different locations?

That, and as the previous poster suggested, assignment to another key other than the convenience key.

Thanks!

Since I don't know what OS you're running I can't post a direct OTA link. If you go to the link I posted above in your BB browser you can access ALL of the different builds for ALL of the OS versions - pick the one which matches your OS and that link will install version 2.2.01.

the second this awesome mini-add-on came out, i quickly modified my personal theme to add a key shortcut to it :D so now my "x" key brings up the weather pop-up.

if you know how to use Composer, the 3rd party name is "weatherpeek"

Not a CLUE how to do that..... haha

Wish I could.

However I do think this is a needed feature for the applet.
