Hey -

I was curious to see if anyone else was having this issue:

I travel quite a bit, and when I set my home location 'Cell Location (GPS Fallback)' I see some very interesting BerryWeather behavior.

When I am in San Diego, CA - I see Seattle, WA
When I am in Englewood, CO (Cherry Hills) - I see Cherry Hills, NJ
When I am in Vail, CO - I see Buffalo, NY

Any one else seeing this? It's not critical since I can always hard code all of my travel locations, but it's really funny when BW says that I am someplace where I am not.

Thanks for the help! (I am using a BB 9700 v 5.0 with BW v 2.1.44)

- shootz

There is a known issue (but not a known solution) that affects certain 3G towers (on certain carriers more than others) that causes a Cell based location to be incorrect and the incorrect location is often one of the ones you list. To verify if this is your problem, try forcing your device to use 2G and see if that properly locates you.

A better configuration than Cell with GPS fallback is GPS with Cell fallback. In the event you are able to lock on GPS when BerryWeather updates you will always get the correct position.
