The observed time and Feels Like run into the weather image...I have tried to change the margins but that is not the problem, the issue is I can not move these two items to the right and keep the weather pic in the center....just makes it look a little sloppy (that is what beta's are for, right provide feedbackv 8-) ).

I passed the 24 hour mark since installing the public beta release on my Storm 9530, memory has remained unchanged. With the 2.0 release I would have easily seen a drop of 3-5MB in same period. Looks like the rewrite of the core really did the job on the memory leak.

I also haven't had any issues with updates, so fingers crossed that remains without any problems as well.

Update on no weather advisory badge on home screen..
When the advisory first posts the badge is displayed in red on the home screen then goes away after you read the advisory.. In the previous versions of BW the badge displayed red on the home screen and after you read the advisory it would turn black and stay there until the advisory expired... Any way to make that happen with the beta??
Thanks, -j

I do have the show advisory badge box checked in the homescreen icon section of settings..

i agree with jboz, that was a nice feature to know you were still under whatever alert was going on. would be nice to see it come back.

To the best of my knowledge what you are describing as happening currently now is how it's supposed to work - at least it's worked that way on all versions of BerryWeather I've ever run on all devices and OSs I've ever run it on. The residual black badge you describe may have been a bug in an older version, or a bug between a theme and BerryWeather.

The advisory badge will remain as a small triangle when you open the User Interface and view a location with an advisory and this will remain until the advisory expires, but the notification on the Home Screen icon disappears once you've acknowledged the advisory.

i think there used to be an option to check that said something like "hide alert notification once viewed" if that was checked it would disappear, if you left it un checked you would get the grey after reading it. the grey would then disappear when the warning expiried

I've been running this for almost a day and it's much better, thanks. I do still notice an occasional lag, but it's not as bad as it was. While I prefer no lag at all, the one I experience is relatively short--a few seconds compared to 30 or more seconds in the previous versions. This is on a Curve 2 8530, OS 5.0.0.395.
