Beta 2.1 seems like a very nice improvement!

It is still missing the option to switch between views without the menu popping-up. I still think this makes the app look cheap. I miss the days when you could just click the screen (on a Storm) and cycle through the different views. I IMPLORE you to make that an option (or if it is already tell me how to select it)! Please, for the love of all that is good!!!

Thanks

I can't seem to get this to work. I have been using 2.0 since it came out with no issues. I deleted it and installed 2.1. I originally got a couple of "exception" errors so I did a battery pull. Now I can't add the current location - I had it set to GPS and then changed it to Cell when it couldn't find the GPS. However, it won't get the location - it just says "failed" every time. Ideas?

This feature is currently only supported on QWERTY devices by pressing the 'h' key to cycle through the views without showing the popup screen.

Ok now it stopped saying "failed" and says "now" but the screen is blank - no location and no forecast. FYI, I am using 5.0.0.423 and I have a BB 9700.

You said "currently!" Does that mean that I can keep hope alive that later the option will be back on the Storm? If it was there before it must be easy to put back.

A few have been reporting that cell location isn't working for them

For clarification, neither cell nor GPS is working. Adding a location via zip code works fine. By the way, why do custom maps have to be added to each location? Why can't adding a custom map work program-wide?

Exception errors & white screen gps/cell location both failing sounds to me like bad install...maybe some 2.0 leftover are hanging around.
I would un-install / reinstall
