Is it possible to make calls to regular phones?
Yes, we provide so-called Voice-over-IP Gateways that transfer your calls into the regular phone network. You may call any regular phone worldwide. We offer some of the lowest rates you can get.
Will I need a computer to make calls?
There are several ways of making calls with bellshare.
You may use a special internet phone device, a SIP compatible phone. No computer is necessary. You will only need a broadband connection.

How do I dial a phone number?
You dial phone numbers in international E.164 Format wählen.
I.e. a call to a phone in Hamburg, Germany would be dialed as 4940...
Calls to Florida, USA would be dialed as 1954...
Are the free minutes for signup included in all plans?
Yes, free minutes at signup are included in all plans. You don't have to spend a single cent to try bellshare.
Sign up for the pay-as-you-go plan and use the included free minutes first.
Or sign up for the unlimited plan and try before adding any balance. (The unlimited plan will not be activated if there is no suffucient balance.)
What are the prices including and excluding VAT?
All bellshare customers from a country of the European Union has to pay sales tax on top of our prices. Due to national laws we have to publish the prices including sales tax.
VAT is not applicable for customers outside of the European Union.
What can the free minutes be used for?
Using the free minutes you can make calls to any destination of our unified rate. Currently these are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, China, People's Republic of, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom.
Can I transfer my current telephone number to bellshare?
Number porting is not yet supported by bellshare.
You may though keep your existing phone line and phone number for receiving phone calls and at the same time use VoIP for outgoing calls. Bellshare will allow to use your existing phone number as Caller-ID on outgoing calls.
