Your activation code is bound to your device's PIN number. To transfer your license code to a new device you will have to request a new activation code.

Transfer Activation Code to a New Device Please enter the e-mail address you used during purchase. You will also have to enter your old and new device's PIN number. The activation code will be e-mailed to you.

What is the PIN number?

The PIN is an 8 digit code used to identify your BlackBerry; it may contain letters as well as numbers.

Where do I find my PIN number?

Your PIN number can be located using the following procedure:
1. From the Home screen go to Options
2. Select Status
3. Note your PIN number
